Huize Mattis
A gift from God, all-encompassing, however you choose to interpret the name. It is known as the Princess House, located on a street with a steep incline of many percent.
The house is situated 0.69 km from our association ‘Pharos’ and is home to at least 69 living organisms, both big and small. An inn of many contrasts: Coffee and Tea, Man and Woman, Beer and Wine—yet always in balance. The house upholds many traditions, such as the annual trash trip and its accompanying flexible cleaning schedule, the well-known multi-room house parties, and its own Coffee Club with a sublime morning coffee service. As the cherry on top, our very own MattisVakanCie organizes an unforgettable annual house vacation.
Our sun-drenched rooftop terrace more than makes up for the lack of a living room, making us a highly engaged household that eats together and enjoys each other’s company. A calm yet chaotic house, filled with active, enthusiastic, and involved people who strive to make student life just a little more enjoyable for each other and others.
Come by, ring the bell, and someone will open the door (though it may take a while). If you visit in the morning, chances are you’ll be treated to a delicious cup of coffee!

Huize Battenberg
Huize Battenberg is the cradle of Lux ad Mosam. In the end, everything happens at number 34 and not, as many mistakenly believe, at 43. You may know us from impromptu and frequent drinks, our ever-accommodating home stadium, headquarters during Carnival, and the ever-growing mountain of dishes and trash.
Battenberg is a house where everyone is always welcome, yet only those who know the secret passwords may enter. However, the key to 34 goes far beyond a few passwords—it lies in the inner conviction of those who knock, knowing they can count on a door that will be opened. What awaits behind it is an endless supply of good coffee, shared meals, companionship, friendship, and, not to be overlooked, delicious beers. After all, the best things in life only truly flourish when they are shared.

Student Resting Home (S.R.O.) The Eminent Duck—a house that, since its founding, has served as a basecamp for no fewer than eleven prominent Luxanen, along with an ever-growing collection of premium plastic ducks. However, do not be misled by the name resting home.
If you are ever granted the honor of dining with this select group, you will most likely find yourself in an utterly chaotic and noisy environment, where meaningless primal screams fly past your ears, ducks and drakes may very well be shrieking and dancing through the room, and where, at maximum volume, indecipherable discussions take place about the goings-on in the house, the city, and the world. “Is this then a house for the feeble-minded?” you may wonder. Well, within the walls of S.R.O., an experimental assisted-living project is in progress.
There is nothing wrong with the mental state of its participants, but each of them certainly has their own quirks and life ambitions. The diverse Eminent Ducklings keep one another in check, creating a space where everyone can be themselves while also finding direction and structure. In doing so, they prevent themselves from truly going off the rails and becoming a burden to those around them. Through countless coffee moments, occasional parties, and the meals, they come together to endlessly reflect and evaluate—these moments being purely therapeutic in nature.
I would say: come and experience it for yourself! Drop by, have a drink or a meal, learn to become a waerdige jetser and connoisseur of golden hop smoothies, or even stay the night—should you have had one too many during a Lux gathering, all you need to do is roll up the stairs, and you’re there! His Eminence will gladly welcome you.
Huize B’vo
Huize B’vo is the ultimate place for those who love to indulge in the finest pleasures this world has to offer: wine, vegetarian ‘bitterballen’, a beer fridge, and legendary house parties in our garden—complete with a swimming pool, barbecue, and Merlot in the making.
Must we elaborate further? We don’t think so.

The best things in life come at a price. A visit to our penthouse is no exception—you will gasp for breath and be drenched in sweat, but oh, how happy you will be! Just like conquering an Alpine peak, your efforts will be rewarded with a breathtaking view.
Join us in soaking up the sun on the balcony, where snacks (fresh from the BruPo) await you, or sink into the comfortable couches of our spacious living area, where our house banana, Bernhard, reigns supreme. The colour yellow is not only found on our walls—it permeates our gatherings, embodying everything it stands for: vibrancy, wisdom, and joy, ensuring that the sun always shines here, even on the gloomiest of days.
You can imagine that Musa Gaudia is not only a refuge but also a fertile ground for a truly studentikoos way of life. The three residents are proud Luxanen, deeply immersed in the student association. They warmly invite you to enjoy all the goodness their home has to offer.
